Our culture is a visible point from the moment you walk in the door. We are 50 employees strong and growing, and like any close family, we learn as we grow. When you walk into the office, the first thing you will notice is the photos of our past memories and accomplishments. Once you start to get to know us, you will soon realize we speak in a language all of our own. A language designed around personal responsibility, awareness, integrity and growth.

With such a diverse group, it's not easy to summarize us as a group, but here are a few key points:

  • We are life-long learners who are continuously on the path to being the best versions of ourselves, so we can give our best gifts to Intercon Messaging (it sounds cheesy- but it's true!).

  • We work hard and play harder.

  • We honor our word and keep our commitments and hold each other accountable for "playing above the line" in our communications and our actions.

Pat Vos, Owner

Pat Vos is a partner and CEO of Intercon Messaging Inc., a NAIT graduate and life long learner. Her career spans the farming, aviation, environmental, retail, municipal government and oil industries; all relevant experience to lead a message centre with a diverse client base. 

Pat has spoken at several industry conferences, been a Board Member and held the position of President of the Canadian Call Management Association (CAM-X) in 2006. She believes that increasing the collective level of EQ (Emotional Intelligence) in your workplace increases employee wellness. She has invested lots of time studying and practicing leadership in the past 15 years. She's a huge supporter of all types of training and believes strongly that "as you grow your people, your people grow your business." 

Pat is also the recipient of the call centre Tom Ryan Award for Ethics and Integrity, the Barbara Bradbury Pay It Forward Mentoring Award, and in 2013 received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award in recognition of her service and many contributions.

In addition to her commitment to her business and the industry, Pat is also active in her community. Pat has served on the boards of numerous organizations and institutions such as the Drayton Valley Community Foundation, Pembina Educational Consortium, Drayton Valley Curling Club, Drayton Valley Family & Community Support Services and Capital Region Community Futures.

Pat has two grown boys she is very proud of. Away from work, Pat spends time reading, traveling, skiing, curling and supporting numerous community and regional charities.
