Emergency Response is a 24/7 matter. Intercon Messaging's Customer Service Representatives initially screen calls to determine the level of action required. Our Customer Service Representatives will then contact your technician to handle the emergency and work in conjunction with them to keep disruptions to a minimum. ESD's are part of our daily routine at Intercon Messaging. All of our Customer Service Representatives are competent in map reading, GPS reading, and 2-way communications.

Emergency 9-1-1 Call Center
Intercon Messaging Inc. is a 9-1-1 PSAP (Primary Service Answer Point).  Intercon Messaging provides the first and second levels of response for emergency service providers.

Intercon Messaging has a fully qualified Emergency Dispatcher on site 24/7. To become a fully qualified Emergency Dispatcher, Agents must take and pass these 3 courses:

• Standard First Aid
• Emergency Medical Dispatch (NAED-National Academy of Emergency Dispatch)
• Emergency Fire Dispatch (NAED)

Our Emergency Dispatchers are also competent in map reading, GPS reading, Aeronautical radio operations and
2-way communications.
